It all began in 2020—just before the world turned upside down. We matched on East Meet East, a dating app for Asians looking for love, and somehow didn’t get ghosted. A modern miracle! Our first date was full of laughter (and a little surprise!), when Danny tried to charm Tram with his best attempt at Vietnamese—broken, but undeniably sweet.

Like many couples, we navigated the highs and lows of dating during a pandemic. Through lockdowns, long video calls, and cozy nights in, our relationship not only endured but blossomed. In September 2021, we took a big step and moved in together, building a life filled with shared dreams, laughter, and love.

Then, in August 2023, Danny surprised Tram with a proposal in the magical city of Kyoto, Japan—an unforgettable moment that marked the beginning of our next chapter.

Our journey has been filled with ups and downs, personal growth, and countless shared memories. And now, we’re beyond excited to celebrate our love story with all of you on September 6, 2025.
